Welcome to the web home of Panda Bear Bostons...
I have tried to make this web site as informative as possible; both about the Boston Terrier as a breed and about the Boston Terriers that are in my breeding program. Take a minute to look around and spend some time, there is a TON of stuff to go through... Enjoy!
About the Breeder: I am a small hobby breeder (no, that does NOT mean that I am a "backyard breeder") located in the wonderful city of Aurora, Colorado. While growing up, my parents who understand the awesome power animals have over us humans, allowed my brothers and I the chance to own and care for many different types of animals. We had from cats and dogs to reptiles, every type of small rodents, birds, fish and just about everything else in between. As far back as I can remember we have ALWAYS had dogs, both mixed breeds and of course our blue blooded canine friends.
I have always known since I was very, very little that "when I grew up" I wanted to be somehow involved in the care of animals. My very first job was at P.T. Moran, a typical pet supply store in Alexandria, VA that mainly sold to the local show dog breeders. I was given the chance to meet and learn about some very nice dogs. Although we carried mostly toys and pet foods we did also carry fish, small rodents, birds and some reptiles. From that job on I always tried to work around animals and have had many different types of jobs from working at other pet and pet supply stores, a wholesale salt and freshwater fish warehouse, doggy daycare, groomers, and even a wildlife rehabilitation park. I have trained all of our dogs from the time that I was around 10 years old and have even trained quite a few of the neighborhood dogs. Every single one of the places that I have worked has given me lots of experience and has taught me many valuable things such as the care, diet, medication, behavior and certain special requirements that each of the species have. About six years ago I started going to a popular nationally known vet tech. school located here in Denver (Bel-Ray). Sadly that was not a good time of my life and I was unable to finish but I do plan on returning, one day...
There have been certain people along the way that have truly been a God-send by being a mentor to me, for this I owe them BIG TIME!!! Those special people have been wonderful and to this day I still ask for their advice or knowledge. I want to thank all of you who have always been there to answer my 101 questions without making me feel like I was ever a bother, Thank you!
A little more than five years ago my TRUE love affair
started when I got my first Boston Terrier, "Durban"... He was just a "pet quality" male but he helped me realize what I REALLY wanted to do, breed Boston Terriers. From there I purchased "Mi Chiquita Corazon" (Deliliah) then "Charmin Charlies Spunky Panda" (Panda) and "Durbin" went off to live with a friend of mine where he still lives to this day. I deeply care for my dogs, they are my babies first and are NOT for sale! They live indoors and have full run of the house, you will not find any kennels or dogs living at the end of some chain in my yard! I try to stay active with my dogs whether it's going to the dog park or working them either on the Flirt pole, Spring Pole, weight pulling or any of the other many activities we do together. They are each very happy, healthy (and at the end of the day- tired!) and believe me, each day no matter what we do together, we have a BALL!! I really can't think of anything else that I would rather do each day than to hang out with my furry friends, lying around in bed buried under the blankets, watching T.V. watching them work on their Spring Pole or jumping around trying to catch the Flirt Pole. To learn about and how to make Spring Poles and Flirt Poles click HERE.
My goal is to produce a bloodline of genetically sound Boston Terriers that produce beautiful babies that are happy, healthy, of good temperament and that conforms to the Boston Terrier standard. I am slowly introducing Colored Boston Terriers into my lines, this will be the ONLY exception to the Boston Terrier standard that I will practice. All of my puppies will be sold with a one year HEALTH GUARANTEE, a BILL OF SALE, will be up to date on shots and deworming and will have their dewclaws removed and tails docked (if needed). They are all handled and loved equally until sadly, one day they must leave my home to their new forever homes. The puppies will be sold with either a limited AKC registration or a full AKC registration. A limited AKC registration means the puppy is "pet quality" and is not to be bred or shown; they can however participate in agility, fly ball etc. A full AKC registration means the puppy is "breeding/show quality" and gives the puppy full breeding rights and the puppy can participate in AKC sanctioned conformation events. Puppies will be evaluated and priced around three weeks of age and will be listed under the AVAILABLE PUPPIES page along with pictures. Pricing depends on several factors such as male/female, limited/full AKC registration, color and markings.
Before you can get a Panda Bear Boston puppy you must first COMPLETELY answer the questions to my PUPPY QUESTIONNAIRE. If everything looks good you will then be added to Panda Bear Bostons waiting list. As soon as a litter is born those on the waiting list will be the first notified of the litter's arrival. Those on the waiting list gets first choice of the puppies and a $200.00 deposit must be paid to hold that puppy before it reaches four (4) weeks of age. The remaining balance must then be paid by the time the puppy reaches eight (8) weeks of age or the puppy will be listed as "pending". There are no refunds for any reason unless there was something to happen to the puppy while under my care. A deposit can be transferred to another litter of the same value at a later date (within a reasonable period of time).
Be sure to check out and to scroll all of the way down each of the pages for TONS of Boston specific information. Each of the pages has a table of contacts at the top, listing each of the articles on that page, just click on the article's name and it will link you with that article.

UPDATES
See how we raise our puppies here at Panda Bear Bostons using the military's "Bio Sensor" or "Super Dog" program by clicking HERE.
The puppies from the Kiva X Soda Pop litter have all been sold and are now living with their new families. Keep checking back for updates about the Deliliah X Panda litter (2 puppies, 1 Black Brindle and White female and 1 Black and White male) that was born on August 27th. Pictures will be taken when the puppies have both opened their eyes and I have had a chance to evaluate and price them. Prices will be listed, both for limited and full AKC registrations with each picture. Any puppy whose qualities does not fit the requirements for either breeding or show quality will be sold with a limited AKC registration only and only that price will be listed with the puppies picture. To get on the waiting list for one of these amazing Panda Bear Boston origionals you must first answer to questions on my PUPPY QUESTIONNAIRE. Once I have received your completed questionnaire you will then be added to the waiting list. Deposits to hold one of these cuties is $200.00 to be paid before the puppy reaches four (4) weeks of age.
***I may decide, depending on the type of registration requested, not to provide AKC papers for these puppies since there is only two in the litter. I will know more when I hear what type of registration is needed from prospective buyers (limited or full AKC registration). The female would only be sold as "pet quality" but the male may be sold as "breeding/show quality" with a full AKC registration if someone is interested in breeding or showing this puppy in which case I would then go ahead and register the litter through AKC. If you are possibly interested in getting a male "breeding/show quality" puppy then please let me know so that I can go ahead and start the registering process. Thank you.

A Breeders lap is a marvelous place where generations of proud and noble champions once snoozed. A Breeders hands are strong and firm and often soiled, but ever so gentle and sensitive to the thrusts of a puppies wet noise. A Breeders back and knees are usually arthritic from stooping, bending, and sitting in the birthing box, but are strong enough to enable the Breeder to Show the next choice pup to a Championship. A Breeders shoulders are stooped and often heaped with abuse from competitors, but they're wide enough to support the weight of a thousand defeats and frustrations. A Breeders arms are always able to wield a mop, support an arm full of puppies, or lend a helping hand to a newcomer.
A Breeders ears are wondrous things, sometimes red (from being talked about) or strangely shaped (from being pressed against a phone receiver), often deaf to criticism, yet always fine-tuned to the whimper of a sick puppy. A Breeders eyes are blurred from pedigree research and sometimes blind to her own dog's faults, but are ever so keen to the competitions faults and are always searching for the perfect specimen. A Breeders brain is foggy on faces, but it can recall pedigrees faster than an IBM computer. It is so full of knowledge that sometimes it blows a fuse: it catalogs thousands of good boning, fine ears, and perfect heads... and buries in the soul the failures and the ones that didn't turn out. The Breeders heart is often broken, but it beats strongly with hope everlasting... and it's always in the right place!
Oh, yes, there are breeders, and then there are ... BREEDERS!...
