                       Congratulations on your new Boston Terrier puppy. I can't solve all the "issues" of puppy parenthood but I can help offer you piece of mind by giving you a one year health guarantee to protect you as a buyer. I hope you enjoy many, many years of Boston love with your new family member. 

*I Ericka Thonen, guarantee this puppy to be healthy at the time of purchase. This puppy will be current on all vaccinations and worming.

*I Ericka Thonen, guarantee this puppy to be free of injuries (falls from furniture, getting hit by cars etc.) once the puppy leaves my home (injuries that may happen once the puppy leaves my home are not covered in this guarantee).

*I Ericka Thonen, guarantee this puppy to be free of genetic defects that are DETRIMENTAL (or life threatning) to the puppies health, for one year from the puppies date of birth. In the event a problem is found, documentation and proof (lab tests, X-rays or necropsy if the puppy is deceased) of the diagnosis must be supplied by the determining vet, to Panda Bear Bostons within 48 hours of discovery. The puppy must then be checked by my own vet or a second, neutral vet if the puppy is located out of state. Both vet's must come up with the same conclusion upon examining the puppy. The buyer would then be able to get a replacement puppy of equal value from either the same litter (if available) or one from the next comparable litter. The original puppy must be returned with all of the original documentation, at the buyers expense, to qualify for a replacement puppy. Exchange of the puppy will be granted ONLY if ALL guidelines are followed. There will be NO refunds given for ANY reason.

*This guarantee does not cover Hypoglycemia, Tracheobronchitis ("kennel cough"), Parvo, Distemper and last but not least external parasites (worms, coccidia and giardia). These are common conditions that can occur in the most cared for animals and could be contacted immediately after leaving my home.

*Also not covered are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental, emotional or chemical stress factors such as skin afflictions, demodectic mange, allergies or thyroid disfunction. There is conclusive evidence that vaccines, however necessary they may be, are implicated in autoimmune disease, we cannot guarantee against autoimmune disorders because of this.

*This guarantee also does not cover those things inherent of the Bulldog breeds, including but not limited to elongated soft palate, stenotic nares, cherry eye or patellar luxation. Panda Bear Bostons will gladly inform the buyer of any known problems found in the sire or dam.

*Above all, Panda Bear Bostons guarantees a healthy Boston Terrier puppy but cannot guarantee the ability of the puppy to be a successful breeder as an adult nor do we guarantee fertility. Also we cannot guarantee size, weight, height at maturity, color, ear structure, conformation and overall structure; however, we at Panda Bear Bostons strive to breed for all of those to be at the highest level. 

        COAT CONDITIONS VARY WITH DIFFERENT COAT COLORS!                *Some coat colors are more sensitive than others. At times, poor nutrition causes hair loss and/or dry skin. Also stress and environmental factor that the puppy may be exposed to after purchase, can cause such problems. Blue dogs in other breeds can sometimes have a harmless progressive hair loss called "Blue Dog Alopecia". This does not appear to be a problem in blue Boston Terriers but we do not guarantee against this condition as any blue dog has this potential.     

*The purchaser agrees that Panda Bear Bostons obligation ceases and this contract is void if the purchaser does not continue the vaccination series, fails to see a qualified veterinarian within three (3) working days of the date of the puppies purchase, deprives the puppy of any medical treatment needed or physically neglects or abuses the puppy in ANY way.

*The purchaser agrees that if the decision is made to later sell the puppy/dog, Panda Bear Bostons first has to be notified of such a decision. In the event that Panda Bear Bostons agrees to let the puppy/dog be sold, the purchaser agrees to give Panda Bear Bostons 10% of any profits made. In the event that there were no profits made than the purchaser agrees to give Panda Bear Bostons 5% of the total amount made from the sale of the puppy/dog. This condition is for the life of the puppy/dog.

*The purchaser is required to feed the puppy "Iams" small breed puppy formula (yellowish color bag) for one (1) month following the puppies date of purchase, and then make a gradual change if desired,

*No other guarantee is made or implied except as stated in this written guarantee.

___This puppy was sold as a "pet" quality puppy with a full AKC registration. Although it may be of breeding or show quality, it is the purchaser's sole discretion whether to breed or show the puppy. There is no requirement that this puppy be bred or shown. If however, the puppy is bred or shown the purchaser agrees to use the prefix "Panda(s)..." in the puppies registered name.

*I, Ericka Thonen will keep with Panda Bear Bostons,all records including but not limited to, AKC registration, medical records, and any other paperwork incurred since the puppies/dogs birth; unless the puppy/dog is either sold or expires.

If the agreement between both parties is a puppy from the resulting litter, Panda Bear Bostons reserves the right to pick the puppy of Panda Bear Bostons choice, even if that means the puppy is the owners first pick. *The bitch's owner agrees to provide Panda Bear Bostons a veterinary certificate of a (negative) Brucellosis test BEFORE the bitch is serviced.

*The bitch's owner agrees to send the bitch to Panda Bear Bostons, in good health and in season.    

*The bitch's owner agrees to send with the bitch to Panda Bear Bostons, any health records and a release for Panda Bear Bostons to provide medical care (to be paid for by the bitch's owner) in case of an emergency.

*The bitch's owner agrees to notify Panda Bear Bostons, in writing, no later than seventy (70) days after the bitch is serviced if no pregnancy results from the mating. Failure to do so will result in no return service being provided.

*The bitch's owner agrees to keep the serviced bitch properly confined to ensure that no other dog could accidentally mate with her, before her heat cycle is finished. 

*The bitch's owner agrees to not knowingly sell or transfer any of the resulting puppies whelped as a result of this breeding to any person or firm connected with the business of resale or wholesale of dogs. 

                            **OTHER CONDITIONS**  

*ONE PUPPY BORN ALIVE OR DEAD CONSTITUTES A LITTER. HOWEVER, IF ONLY ONE PUPPY RESULTS FROM THIS BREEDING, A RETURN SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED, AT NO CHARGE, TO THE SAME BITCH AT HER NEXT HEAT CYCLE, OR WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE ORIGINAL BREEDING, PROVIDING ALL CONDITIONS OF THIS CONTRACT HAVE BEEN MET.

*IF SAID BITCH FAILS TO CONCEIVE ON THE RETURN SERVICE, THIS CONTRACT IS TERMINATED.

The rule of thumb on stud service prices is the fee equivalent of the price of a puppy. This may vary based on the record of the dog's production results.

 The price of shipping the bitch should not alter the stud fee. That is merely one of the expenses of having your bitch bred.
